Who Can Access Our Services?
People who arrived in Australia within the last five years, especially those needing urgent support. This includes people experiencing health and wellbeing challenges, or family or domestic violence.
Family members and dependants, often women, who may have focused on caring for others and delayed seeking settlement support for themselves.
People with limited English or low literacy, who need extra help understanding services, forms, or everyday systems.
People with complex or ongoing settlement needs, where other settlement or mainstream services are not available or accessible.
Older migrants, or people who arrived in Australia at a young age and experience new challenges as they get older, even if they have lived in Australia for more than five years.
Please note: Professional interpreters are available free of charge for appointments, on request. Australian citizens are not eligible for the SETS program.
